In my first verbal phone communication with her, I shared with her my singing training history, including my struggles and goals. We briefly discussed the differences of technique in popular music and classical. Because of Connie's knowledge in singing technique, performance, her actual experience in singing for large audiences, the high degree of value she provides for her fees, AND our wonderful phone conversation where we laughed quite a bit, I was convinced that I had to take singing lessons with her. You'll see that Connie goes "above and beyond" for her students. She creates an invironment of trust, safety and growth. Dr. D is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Not only does she seek to light passion and love in each student; she does so in a way that makes one feel safe and comfortable as they take their path in singing.
