In my first verbal phone communication with her, I shared with her my singing training history, including my struggles and goals.  We briefly discussed the differences of technique in popular music and classical. Because of Connie's knowledge in singing technique,  performance, her actual experience in singing for large audiences, the high degree of value she provides for her fees, AND our wonderful phone conversation where we laughed quite a bit, I was convinced that I had to take singing lessons with her. You'll see that Connie goes "above and beyond" for her students. I recommend getting in touch with her.

Her vocal exercises gently wake up the voice, strengthening it, and helping it become flexible and resilient. She creates an invironment of trust, safety and growth. Not only does she seek to light passion and love in each student; she does so in a way that makes one feel safe and comfortable as they take their path in singing. She takes the time understand each student’s unique voice and then uses her vast knowledge and expertise to help you find the best way to develop and use it properly.   Learning how to sing can be quite challenging at times, which makes me so grateful that Connie is also incredibly warm, kind, and encouraging!   She creates an environment where you feel comfortable exploring your voice and then she works her magic!  I always feel both supported and challenged by her.  I leave my lessons feeling excited and inspired.
